# Agora by Olimpia > Agora is an agent-native desktop runtime: one Linux desktop and one Chromium per workspace, shared by many AI agents with their own cursors, input seats and tabs. Open source, by Olimpia. Agora (by Olimpia) is an agent-native desktop runtime written in Go. One daemon (`agora serve`, HTTP API on 127.0.0.1:7788) runs one Xvfb display and one Chromium per workspace; many AI agents share it as cursors with their own scoped tokens, MPX input seats, tabs, parent-child hierarchy and structured results. Install on Ubuntu/Debian with `curl -fsSL https://agora.olimpia.dev/install.sh | sh`. Agents connect through the stdio MCP server `agora mcp` (env AGORA_URL, AGORA_TOKEN), e.g. `claude mcp add agora -e AGORA_TOKEN= -- agora mcp`. Install the skill with `bunx skills add olimpiacloud/agora-skills`. Prefer browser_* tools with refs from browser_snapshot; action tools already return what is visible; call human_request then events_wait(types=control.returned) for CAPTCHAs. ## Get started - [Introduction](https://agora.olimpia.dev/): Agora gives AI agents a real Linux computer they can share. One desktop and one Chromium per workspace, many agents on it at once, each with its own cursor, keyboard and tabs. - [Install](https://agora.olimpia.dev/install): Install Agora on Ubuntu or Debian with one command, or build it from source. - [Quickstart](https://agora.olimpia.dev/quickstart): Create a workspace, open a tab, read it the way an agent does, watch it live and launch a subagent. - [Uninstall](https://agora.olimpia.dev/uninstall): Remove Agora and, optionally, every workspace, browser profile and token it stored. ## Guides - [Concepts](https://agora.olimpia.dev/concepts): Workspaces and their lifecycle, cursors and subagents, input seats and arbitration, human takeover, streaming modes and persistence. - [Agents](https://agora.olimpia.dev/agents): Connect Claude Code, Codex or any MCP client to Agora, install the Agora skill, launch subagents and keep token usage low. - [Paseo plugin](https://agora.olimpia.dev/paseo): Watch and steer Agora desktops from Paseo, on desktop or mobile, and give every Paseo agent its own Agora cursor. - [Security model](https://agora.olimpia.dev/security): How Agora authenticates callers, isolates browsers and apps, and what it does not protect against. ## Reference - [CLI](https://agora.olimpia.dev/cli): Every agora subcommand and environment variable. - [HTTP API](https://agora.olimpia.dev/http-api): Every endpoint of the Agora daemon, with authentication, request bodies and errors. - [MCP tools](https://agora.olimpia.dev/mcp-tools): The 52 tools of the agora mcp server, grouped by what they control. - [Benchmarks](https://agora.olimpia.dev/benchmarks): Agora against an Xvfb + x11vnc + noVNC + Chrome stack, and the token cost of Agora subagents before and after the lean launcher. ## Project - [FAQ](https://agora.olimpia.dev/faq): Common questions about Agora. - [Changelog](https://agora.olimpia.dev/changelog): Release notes for Agora. ## Agent skills - [agora-by-olimpia](https://agora.olimpia.dev/.well-known/agent-skills/agora-by-olimpia/SKILL.md): Read the Agora by Olimpia docs instead of answering from memory. Agora is an agent-native desktop runtime: one Linux desktop and one Chromium per workspace, shared by many AI agents with their own cursors, input seats and tabs. Open source, by Olimpia. Use when a task involves Agora by Olimpia: how it works, how to set it up or configure it, or its API. ## Agent resources - [llms-full.txt](https://agora.olimpia.dev/llms-full.txt): The full Markdown of every page in one file. - [Page Markdown](https://agora.olimpia.dev/index.md): Append `.md` to any page URL to fetch that page as raw Markdown. - [JSON API](https://agora.olimpia.dev/api/docs/pages.json): Page index of the JSON docs API; each entry links the page's JSON and Markdown forms.
